The 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year Award
has been presented to
Anne Charlotte Lembye, CPH
Morten Bay Jensen, President of ECCO, China came to Shanghai from Xiamen to receive the Vilhelm and the honor of the award for 2009. Morten has worked for ECCO since he turned 20 and today at 38, the plant in Xiamen employs over 3,000 people producing more than 3 million pairs of shoes annually.
Anne Charlotte Lembye of CPH and Lukou Sourcing was awarded the Entrepreneur prize after a rocket career in the fashion industry. Only 18 months ago, AC started her retail shop with women's fashion and she has since expanded with a sourcing and production company and her own two fashion brands.
