A toxic agent used for fighting mildew in Chinese-manufactured furniture has caused several people all over Northern Europe – including Sweden and Finland – to fall ill with serious allergic reactions. The Danish company responsible for bringing the Chinese furniture onto the Swedish market, the Holstebro-based Actona Company – has immediately recalled all products from distribution, according to CEO Torben Villadsen.
